Banh Mi Aha! – Bringing the Taste of Vietnam to London

Banh Mi Aha! was established in the heart of London, inspired by a deep appreciation for authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

Founded by a team originally from Vietnam, the journey began after many years of exploring the UK food scene. While London offered diversity and innovation, we found that the simple and soulful flavours of home were missing.

In late 2020, we opened our first shop on Lamb’s Conduit Street, Holborn. Our mission was clear: to introduce genuine Vietnamese street food to both Londoners and visitors. Starting with a humble bánh mì and a strong cup of Vietnamese coffee, we shared not only food, but also heritage, comfort, and flavour.

Each dish we prepare reflects everyday Vietnamese life — fresh, vibrant, and heartfelt.

Thanks to the support of our community, we expanded further:

• In 2021, our second shop opened in Farringdon, quickly becoming a place not only for dining, but also for connection and celebration.

• Later, we opened in Soho, one of London’s most dynamic neighbourhoods, reaching an even wider audience.

Today, Banh Mi Aha! represents more than just a restaurant. It is a growing community, a culinary journey, and a true taste of Vietnam in the heart of London.
